Bitmap: A New Standard for a Bitcoin Metaverse
Transforming Digital Ownership through Bitmap Theory
What is Bitmap?
Bitmap is an open-source standard that enables individuals to establish ownership of a Bitcoin Block by inscribing it onto a Satoshi using Ordinals and the Bitmap standard. This process is both equitable and decentralized, empowering any Bitcoin block to become an integral part of the Metaverse through the expenditure of energy.
Be sure to visit the bitmap github for further information on the project.
How do you inscribe a .bitmap?
First you need to decide on a block that currently exists.
You can check if anyone else has inscribed the block by searching example.bitmap via Unisat.io with the “text” field selected.
(“example” is not a block number. it is just for demonstration purposes. arf.)
If your block number has not been inscribed you can then go to the inscription page, select the “text” field, enter your block and inscribe.
Keep in mind that if you’re not first. You’re last. Leaving your .bitmap useless. Also keep in mind this is new and experimental. We’re pioneers.
This could be nothing. Or you could be living on my historical land when they make it make sense.
